The seat of the chair is about having a good foundation to support us & relates to our ability to be compassionate to ourselves.
The back of the chair relates to our ability to reach out for and receive support.
Leg number 1 is about having real time strategies we can use in the moment when we feel stressed, stuck, overwhelmed, frustrated & anxious.
Leg number 2 is about having regular, consistent practices which we can use to build and strengthen our resilience and ability to regulate.
Leg number 3 is about having strategies we can use to transform significant stories or experiences which get stored in our system and keep showing up in our lives.
Leg number 4 is about having strategies to regularly increase, focus on and take in more of our positive, aspects & beneficial experiences to strengthen our system.
